    Book details

Formed in 1919 from the ashes of Leeds City, Leeds United have a proud history, although they had to wait until the dawn of the Don Revie era in the 1960s before they began to achieve major honours –: League Championship, FA Cup, League Cup and Fairs Cup, as well as a place in the European Cup Final. A spell in the old Second Division followed before Howard Wilkinson restored the club to the top flight and in 1992 guided them to another League Championship. That year The Leeds United Story was first published by Breedon. The authorititave text was warmly received by United supporters and became a sell-out. Ten years on, the authors have revised and updated their book as United look towards the 2002–:03 season with an exciting young team and high hopes of Premiership glory. The result will prove compelling reading for Leeds fans of all ages.
